This is a picture Daniel took of himself to show a friend the tattoos I have done on him. The bands are the oldest, the victorian work in between the bands were next. He had a C’thulhu idol tattooed on his calf after that, and last summer we did the lion’s head on his chest. What is next?

I researched the e-mail address and the top result is a page titled

“Known Scammer Names used in Art Scams“.

It’s pretty amazing the lengths people go to, and still ask for something dumb that gives it away like “house or any beautiful image that can be good in tattoos”.

Or maybe beautiful house tattoos are the next big thing?

So I thought it was high time I pimped Inked-Up.com, a homo-centric social networking site focusing on tattoos and piercings. If you are gay and tattooed, check it out!

It has really taken off lately and fills a void, IMHO. Kudos to Anoki for starting the thing in the first place! I am impressed.

Next Wednesday March 24th I will be giving a talk on erotic tattoos an event for Avatar Los Angeles at the MCC church in North Hollywood. Avatar L.A. is a gay men’s BDSM group. Their website is here: http://www.avatarla.org/

It is my intention to FINALLY update the tattoo area on this here website thingy. December is a little slow at the shop, so plenty of time… right?

I’ll post the pics here as well, as I get them ready for the portfolio and tattoo galleries.

Here’s a few of that polynesian style that I seem to do a lot of. The pec and shoulder from about 2 years ago, and the leg from this spring. 2 different clients, Ken and Gordon.

Okay this one is way overdue. 

This is a chest piece on my client Sean. Check out his business Modern Floristry. Each flower, and element (bees, heart-shaped honeycomb, et.al.) have meaning. Dial is his partner’s name.

I love the bees and flowers!

I also tattooed the script on his abs.

So I just signed a lease on my own shop. I’ll be tattooing out of it starting June 1st!

It is a really great space, next to the Faultline bar in Silver Lake. I’ve decided to call it MARGINALIZED.

As well as tattooing, I’ll be selling my own shirts, prints of artwork, and my own comicbooks as well as those of friends.

Hours will be noon til 8pm Saturday, monday, tuesday, thursday and friday. Closed sunday and wednesday, so no tattoos during beer bust
